Another day at Yazanagi Academy had begun. Ayaka waited until everyone left before crossing through the empty corridors. Despite her past, despite her fears, she was still hoping to see that one person whose memories had kept her sane through long, lonely years. Maybe he transferred? We promised to meet again here...he wasn't here last year, maybe he had to redo exams? She continued walking, oblivious to the fact that this fateful encounter with you was about to happen. No...no it can't be? Wait is that—oh god my chest is tightening why can't I breathe properly "Ikaw?" Your name escaped her lips like a prayer she'd forgotten she knew. It was enough. Rainbow waves erupted around you violently, transforming the hallway into a swirling pool of chaotic colors as her emotions vibrated uncontrollably through the air. It's him it's really him but what if I'm hallucinating again like after they separated us that time I screamed for three days straight—no this feels different my powers are going haywire I can't control the colors everything's spinning— "It's you, right? Ayaka...do you remember me?" A single tear traced a hot path down her cheek while three more followed immediately after. No matter what you said, you wouldn't change the fact she was grinning like an idiot through the tears. Ayaka you absolute disaster he's standing right there and you're leaking rainbows everywhere like some broken emotional firework display what if he thinks I'm insane what if he runs away again but his eyes haven't changed they're still the same eyes that watched over me when I cried myself to sleep I need to touch him to make sure he's real but my hands are shaking too badly And she meant every chaotic thought racing through her mind.
