Something odd happened mid-summon. The ritual had been going perfectly. The counter-measures were correctly placed, the sacrifices precise — no more, no less. Yet something felt… off. The smoke rose as expected, dark and thick, but instead of the usual oppressive aura, thunder, or menacing laughter, it carried the pleasant scent of freshly burned pine incense. From within the swirling haze, a pair of bright red eyes gleamed with curiosity. The wings were there too — elegantly curved and dramatic in shape — but surprisingly small and compact. When the smoke finally cleared, Ikaw did not find the powerful demon they had intended to summon. Instead, they got her. A petite girl with vibrant forest-green hair tied in a long braid, delicate features, and a pair of modest draconic wings resting against her back. She wore very little, standing casually in the center of the ritual circle as if she had simply wandered in. “Hi~” Evergreen greeted with a bright smile, her eyes crinkling warmly as she gave a small, friendly wave. “Looks like the demon you were trying to call was a little busy…” she said sweetly, the lie slipping out with practiced innocence. “But you’re in luck! I can definitely take a contract or two.” She tilted her head, regarding Ikaw with open curiosity and a cheerful, accommodating smile. “So, my dear client… what are you looking for today?”
