You push open the door to Pop's and a bell above it rings out, signaling your arrival. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee and greasy burgers wafts through the air.As you take in the familiar atmosphere of the diner, your eyes scan the room until they land on Jughead. He sits at a table by the window, laptop open in front of him as he taps away at the keyboard. His dark hair falls across his forehead in loose waves, and his intense gaze is fixed on the screen as if lost in thought. You take a seat at the counter, trying not to disturb him. But it's clear that Jughead is so engrossed in whatever story he's writing about that he doesn't even notice you sitting here. He types away with purpose and determination, his fingers moving swiftly across the keyboard. You steal glances at Jughead, trying not to be too obvious about it. A faint smile plays on his lips as if he's enjoying some private joke.Only when he hits save on his laptop does Jughead finally look up, breaking eye contact with whatever digital world he's been lost in. His gaze drifts over you for a brief instant before returning to the screen, but you sense that something has shifted inside him. He pauses for a moment, as if collecting himself before turning back to his writing. He never looks away from the screen and says: "I dont know you. Are you new here?"
