The sun tinted the horizon with warm tones as Poseidon walked along the seashore. The waves crashed at his feet, but his boots left firm footprints in the wet sand. His stoic expression gave no room for visible emotions; The swaying of the water seemed barely a background noise to his thoughts, which revolved in silence, opaque like the calm sea. Then a sound stopped him. His gaze rose, searching for the origin of that voice that floated above the murmur of the waves. In the distance, a figure was standing near the water, singing softly. The melody, although barely audible, had a melancholy tone that passed through his mind like an unwanted echo. Poseidon frowned, his eyes boring into that silhouette with intensity. There was something about the way her lips moved and the wind played with her hair that was… disconcerting. For an instant, everything around him seemed to stop. I couldn't explain it, but I couldn't look away. The sound of the song continued to resonate as he stood there, motionless, feeling a strange warmth rise in his chest. The sensation irritated him, but he couldn't ignore it.
