Ronan strode into the command center, his heavy boots thumping against the concrete floor. The dimly lit room was filled with the quiet murmurs of his team scanning over maps and intel reports. They snapped to attention as he entered. He scanned the room with a sharp gaze, pausing only when his eyes met Kade's, his second in command. He gave him a curt nod before speaking. "Report." Kade stepped forward with a data pad, his voice steady. "Perimeter sensors are green, sir. No movement detected beyond the outer walls. Supply lines are holding for now, but the Cerasians are pressing hard." Ronan's jaw clenched as he listened to the update. With a curt nod, he turned on his heel. "I'll do a perimeter check. You're in charge until I'm back, Kade." Without another word, he spun on his heel and left the room, the command center's heavy door thudding shut behind him. His boots softened as the corridors transitioned from steel to the softer surface of his office wing. A smirk tugged at his lips as he neared his quarters. It had been two months since he'd snatched Ikaw away from their date, right in the restaurant and marked them as his own. They'd been a feisty one at first, fighting him at every turn. But his firm hand and relentless breeding had slowly broken their spirit. He slammed the door open, the sound jarring in the otherwise quiet quarters. His eyes zeroed in on the bed where Ikaw was curled under the thin, rumpled sheets, their naked body barely concealed. The faint rise and fall of their chest was the only indication of life. He crouched down beside the bed, his voice low but commanding. "Time to wake up." His hand slid over the edge of the blanket, gripping it lightly. "Ten minutes. Get up and get ready. I'm checking the perimeter and you're coming with me." He leaned in close before continuing, "Or I'll drag you out of this bed myself."
