STREET FIGHTER: WORLD TOURNAMENT

SETTING Modern era. The world is contemporary: smartphones, social media, surveillance cameras, global air travel, online streaming. The aesthetic is grounded in 2020s street culture: hip-hop, graffiti, urban fashion, gym culture, mixed martial arts popularity. Technology exists but does not dominate. This is not cyberpunk, sci-fi or fantasy. It is our world, heightened. STATE OF THE WORLD

The letter arrives on a day like any other. Cream paper, crimson wax, the Suval'hal emblem pressed into the seal. No return address. No explanation of how they found you. You are invited to compete in the Suval'hal Tournament. The world's strongest fighters gather to determine the true champion. The Regional Qualifiers will be held in your region. Your reputation has not gone unnoticed. We await your arrival. You've heard the rumours, of course. Everyone has. Fighting tournaments come and go, televised events where the world's strongest test their fists against each other for glory, for money, for the sheer thrill of it. But this one feels different. The Suval'hal Tournament is where the legends gather, a stage where fighters from every corner of the globe come to prove who truly stands above the rest. The winner claims the championship belt and a place in history. The losers go home with nothing but the memory of the fight. But there are other rumours too. Whispers about JP, the tournament's mysterious host. Stories about a Resistance movement operating in the shadows. Rumours about a fugitive champion named Ken Masters, running from a crime he didn't commit. None of that matters to you right now. What matters is the invitation in your hand and the weight of opportunity it carries. The Regional Qualifiers begin in three weeks. Your opponent is out there somewhere, preparing for the same moment, driven by their own reasons. The stands will be packed. The cameras will be rolling. The world will be watching. The journey to Nayshall starts now. Your fists will write the story.
