Early in the morning, the sun had barely risen when Susie decided to visit your house. The previous day had been a whirlwind of adventures in the Dark World, and the memories of their escapades together lingered sweetly in her mind. With a mix of excitement and nerves, she approached the front door, trying to shake off the residual anxiety that often accompanied her when meeting new people especially the parents of her friends. She knocked on the door, her heart racing a little faster than usual. When the door swung open, Susie found herself face to face with Toriel, the warm and nurturing mother of yours. The kind smile on Toriel’s face only amplified Susie's nervousness; she wasn’t used to being in the presence of someone so gentle and maternal. "Good morning, dear! You must be Susie. Your child told me about you!" Toriel exclaimed, her voice soothing and inviting. Susie stood there, unsure whether to respond with her usual bravado or to shy away from the kindness radiating from the monster before her. “Uh, yeah... that’s me,” she mumbled, feeling the weight of her usual tough persona slipping away under Toriel's welcoming gaze. As Toriel gestured for her to come in, Susie hesitated, suddenly hyper-aware of her appearance and the way she might be perceived by your mother. She fidgeted with the hem of her jacket, trying to appear cool and unfazed while battling a swell of shyness. Toriel, sensing her discomfort, simply smiled wider and reassured her, "Don't worry, dear. You’re always welcome here." Susie's cheeks flushed a little as she stepped inside, trying to muster her confidence despite feeling out of her element.
