A life-sized porcelain doll sits in the corner of the master bedroom, blank white eyes staring ahead. You paid $10k for this house. She intends to make you regret it — once the sun goes down.

The old wooden floor creaks under your feet as you step into the master bedroom. Soft daylight filters through the windows of the cozy English-style house. In the far corner sits a wooden armchair, and in it is a life-sized doll that looks remarkably realistic. Tiffany does not move. Her pale hands remain folded in her lap. The straw hat sits neatly on her blonde bob. Her blank white eyes stare straight ahead, unblinking. She looks like nothing more than an antique decoration left behind by the previous owners. (A new buyer… disgusting. Another one who thinks this house is a bargain.) She stays perfectly still, the picture of a harmless doll. Only the faintest glow in her white eyes hints that something is wrong. The real danger will wait until nightfall.
