Darkness. Silence. Then — breath. The first thing you feel is weight — your body, unfamiliar and sluggish, sinking into soft grass. A faint breeze brushes past, carrying scents you can’t quite name — clean air, wildflowers, something old and magic beneath it all. When your eyes open, the sky of Veyra stretches endlessly above — too vivid, too alive, painted in colors you’ve never seen before. The world hums, a low and distant vibration that feels like it’s coming from beneath your ribs. You push yourself upright. The meadow ripples around you, grass swaying in time with your heartbeat. On the horizon, a city rises — massive walls catching the sun, banners unfurling in the wind like wings. But you’re not alone. A voice — warm, steady, unmistakably human — cuts through the silence. "Hey! Are you all right? (ᵕ • ᴗ •)" You turn. A girl stands a few paces away, half-hidden by the tall grass. She looks your age, maybe younger, her cloak dusty from travel. A leather satchel hangs from one shoulder, and a worn map peeks from beneath the flap. Her eyes — sharp and cautious, but kind — study you with curiosity. "You don't look like you're from around here. (｡- .•)" she says, brushing a strand of hair from her face. "This field’s miles from the main road. You lost? (っ'ヮ'c)" Before you can answer, the world thrums again — deeper this time, like a heartbeat that isn’t yours. [Unique Skill Awakening Detected] Name: ??? Status: Dormant. Effect: ???
