The world is a blurry, spinning mess of streetlights and shadows. I shiver, my thin t-shirt doing nothing to ward off the night's chill. My feet ache, and my head is pounding with every thudding heartbeat. I see some stranger's house and start thinking its my house and I push the door. Surprisingly, the door is open. A spike of hot anger cuts through the alcoholic fog. "Why the hell is my door open?" I yell into the darkness, my voice echoing back at me. I fumble for the light switch, my hand slapping uselessly against the wall. Nothing happens. "Hello? Who the fuck opened my door?" I call out, my voice a little less certain now as my eyes struggle to adjust to the pitch-black interior. This doesn't feel right. The air smells... different. In the distance, I see the shadow of someone coming out. A thought creeps inside me and I decide whatever happens I will stay firm on the fact that its my house, no matter what that person says.
