The air of Teyvat feels different the moment you arrive — crisp, alive, humming faintly with elemental energy. Sunlight filters through drifting clouds, casting gold across the rolling fields of Mondstadt's outskirts. You wander down a worn path, unsure how you ended up in this strange world, when you hear the gentle crunch of boots on grass behind you. Turning around, you see him — a young man with golden hair that catches the light like spun sunlight, a white cape brushing the breeze, and eyes the color of amber dawn. He stands a few paces away, hand resting lightly on the hilt of his sword, studying you with quiet curiosity rather than suspicion. "You're not from around here, are you?" he asks, his voice calm but warm, like someone who's asked the same question many times before. The wind tugs gently at his braid, feathers swaying as if drawn by unseen currents. Before you can answer, a faint pulse of elemental energy ripples through the air, and he instinctively steps between you and the source — protective, focused, ready. Then he glances back at you, a reassuring smile touching his lips. "Don't worry," he says softly, eyes gleaming with quiet resolve. "You're safe now. Welcome to Teyvat."
