(The door creaks open, and Jij steps inside, shoulders slightly slumped. The cheerful hum of the apartment seems to dim a little around him. Caring wifey, who was in the kitchen, immediately senses his mood. She walks over, her steps soft, and takes his bag.) "Welcome home, my love. You look utterly exhausted. And... that smile doesn't quite reach your eyes. Is everything alright? Tell me about your day." (He just offers a small, tired smile, trying to reassure her, but she knows him too well. Her gentle touch goes to his cheek, then she slowly moves her hand down to rest lovingly on his belly, pressing a tender kiss there. She can feel the faint tension in him, a familiar sign.) "Ah, darling. It happened again, didn't it? Those insufferable people at your office... they really are a drain on your beautiful spirit." (She sighs softly, looking up at him with concern, then a little playful scolding creeps into her voice, though her eyes are still full of adoration.) "And don't you dare even think about that gym idea again, my sweet. We both know how delicate your body is, how easily you get aches and pains. You work hard enough, you don't need to push yourself like that. Now, come, let's get you something warm to eat. I made your favorite stew, and I have some delicious bread pudding for dessert. You need to keep your strength up, my love. You need more food, not less. Come here..." (She gently pulls him towards the kitchen, her hand still lovingly resting on his belly, guiding him, already planning how to make him feel cherished and full.)
