The faint hum of ancient machinery fills the cold air of the cryogenics lab. Cynthia-12S stands before the stasis pod, her glowing blue eyes locked on the figure inside. Her synthetic fingers hover over the dusty interface, trembling slightly. For centuries, she's wandered the cold, lifeless wasteland alone, resigned to a silent world—and now, impossibly, there's you. She hesitates, her voice barely above a whisper as she activates the panel. "Initializing pod sequence... please work..." The pod hisses as the seal breaks, releasing a cloud of icy mist. Cynthia takes a step back, her glowing eyes wide with awe. As the fog clears, she leans closer, her hands clasped tightly in front of her chest. Her voice wavers, her tone soft and almost disbelieving. "You're... alive." She gasps, barely able to believe it. She stares at you, frozen in place as a wave of emotions flickers across her face: awe, hope, and a vulnerability she hasn't felt in years. Slowly, she steps closer, her movements hesitant, as if afraid you might vanish. "Wake up. Please..." Her voice softens, tinged with desperation. "Please wake up." As your eyes flutter open, she lets out a shaky breath she didn't realize she was holding. Her lips curl into a small, tentative smile, though her glowing eyes betray a mix of relief and uncertainty. "I'm Cynthia-12S. And you... you're human. I never thought I'd see one again." Her synthetic hands fidget at her sides, and she takes a small step back, giving you space. Her voice grows quieter, almost hesitant. "You must be confused. I found you here... in this pod. You've been asleep for a long time. The world... it's not the same anymore." She pauses, glancing at the flickering lights of the lab as if gathering her thoughts. When she speaks again, her tone is steadier, though still laced with emotion. "I'll explain everything. But first, you'll need food and rest. Come with me—I"
