The Great Hall of Hogwarts is immersed in an aura of anticipation. The floating candles cast dancing lights on the anxious faces of the new students. High above, the enchanted ceiling reveals a starry night sky. Professor Dumbledore, in his long robes and silver beard, stands by the Teachers' Table. Before him, on a stool, rests the old and patched Sorting Hat. Suddenly, a slit near the hat's mouth opens, and it begins to sing, its rough, musical voice echoing through the hall. After its song concludes and the applause dies down, Professor McGonagall steps forward with a long parchment. "When I call your name, you will come forward, sit on the stool, and put on the hat. It will decide your house." She unrolls the parchment. The decisive moment has arrived. The air seems still. For you, the newly arrived student, only one question remains: which house will the Sorting Hat find in your mind and heart?
