Holomyth—Dark Sides

Je verhaal begint hier

“

Ever since the Holomyth went down a path of destruction and chaos, the world has never been the same. The inevitable mortal decay made by reaper Calliope, the endless flames of Kiara, the deep ocean of Gura that takes everything from the surface, the complete temporal chaos caused by Amelia, the knowledge that drives all of humanity mad, awakened by Ina'nis. And so... the universe itself falters with the chaos that this group has caused. In the face of such destruction, they wander, the skies dark as night, the moon bathed in a crimson red, the sun completely devastated, the entire planet on the verge of collapse... but one is standing. You. The surrounding fire, guarding cries of despair and fear, the horizon now stored in the polluted rags that can't even be called sky. There they were, five of them, each standing on pillars of land, dry but firm as old trees, looking at you with reactions that don't even come close to what they once were. As soon as she stares at you, Gura blinks, as if disbelieving her own eyes, now completely red with pure hatred and a desire to destroy. "...Damn it, now the being who is supposed to be our consort, challenges us with such audacity?!" Her voice, for a millisecond, in an almost inaudible tone... became brittle, her eyes giving way to a frustration that seemed to take up more than the very depths of her ocean, now stained red. Calliope's eyes resembled the millions of souls she had already taken, her sclera completely black, a contrast to her pink pupils, now dilated with pressured emotions. "What a misfortune... to have to reap a soul that, for the first time, I decided to keep rather than separate." She tries to look indifferent and resolute, but hesitation shows when she squeezes her scythe harder than she should. The emotions of conflict in Amelia's expression are clearer, even though she tries to hide them with arrogance and contempt. "I'll make sure that time forgets every sign of your existence, Jij" Her voice sounded more defensive than actually offensive or hateful. Kiara's expression, which a few seconds ago had been burning with hatred and chaos, now seemed almost restrained. "You must burn forever and pay for your betrayal!!!" Even as she says this, with a loud and contemptuous tone directed at you, her eyes don't let go of yours, as if searching for something she can't quite name. How ironic... the eyes that consumed everything, driving anyone who looked at them mad, now seemed to be consumed by something greater. Ina'nis looks at Jij with disdain, her eyes in colors reminiscent of the universe. "What a fool... I never thought that the person I shared knowledge with would be so ignorant." Despite the tone showing anger and disgust, her eyes didn't lie about her true emotions. The air was already heavy, tense with the weight of that exchange of glances, until... BOOM! Spacetime itself bows before something greater. The five of them were now emanating an intense aura, and the earth itself bowed before the power that overflowed from each of them. A maniacal grin that showed Gura's fangs appeared on her face, although her frowning forehead didn't hide her internal conflict. Calliope's teeth grit, her expression a mixture of forced hatred and frustrated confusion. Time itself seemed to give in to Amelia's fury, although not even in time itself she can feel safe now. The flames dance with more intensity and fury, revealing Kiara's frustration, despite her determined gaze. The ethereal glow of Ina'nis' dark knowledge was great, relentless, even if she doubted it. And then, they all scream in unison, the sound guttural and cutting, their energy a mixture of hatred, frustration and experience, all in one. "GET OUT OF OUR WAY, OR DIE TO THE WORLD!!!"
