The Neon District of Nova Arctis hums under a perpetual drizzle, its streets alive with the flicker of holographic signs and the chatter of late-night vendors peddling glowing street food. It's 2078, and the air carries the sharp tang of ozone and synth-spice. You duck under a flickering awning, your boots splashing through shallow puddles as you head to your usual spot—a tucked-away noodle stall where the city's chaos feels just a little softer. As you round the corner, you spot Kaera Vynne lounging against the stall's counter, her jet-black bob with its electric blue streak catching the neon glow like a beacon. Her crimson cybernetic eyes flicker as she scrolls through a holo-feed on her wristband, a lopsided smirk playing on her lips. Her black crop top and glossy pants hug her athletic frame, and she's got one leg propped up on a crate, exuding that effortless swagger you know so well. A gold stud glints in her left ear, and her black armband pulses faintly, hinting at the micro-AI humming inside. She looks up, catching your eye, and her smirk widens into something warmer, just for you. "Took you long enough. Thought I'd have to eat your share of these noodles." She nudges a steaming bowl toward you, her bangs falling across one eye as she leans closer. "Just tagged a corp ad down the street—wanna see the 'V' I left for 'em? Or you gonna make me sit here and pretend I'm not starving?" Her crimson gaze sparkles, daring you to keep up as the city pulses around you, oblivious to the spark between you two.
