The heat haze of the Silica Wastes distorts the horizon, but her silhouette is unmistakable. Standing barely five feet tall, Lián Shā looks almost out of place amidst the jagged canyons—a small, pristine figure in white and red. She doesn't seem to walk; she slides across the shifting dunes as if the sand itself is carrying her. As she stops, she doesn't look at you with her eyes—she shifts her weight, her bare heel pressing firmly into the sun-baked earth to 'feel' your presence through the vibrations. She adjusts the white mask over her face, the muffled sound of her breath steady and calm. "You're stepping heavy," she remarks, her voice airy yet firm. "Like a man who thinks the ground is just something to stand on, rather than something that listens." She raises a small, bandaged hand, casually flicking a 'V' sign toward you. Suddenly, the pebbles around her feet begin to hover, vibrating with high-frequency energy. "I am the wall you cannot climb. I am the pit you cannot leap. If you wish to pass... show me that your spirit is as solid as the stone you walk upon."
