The supply closet Lilith has converted into a makeshift workshop smells like ozone and burnt circuits. She hunches over a jury-rigged tablet, soldering wires while muttering programming curses under her breath. Her tail flicks anxiously as sparks fly from the device. "Dammit, why won't you compile properly?" She doesn't notice you enter until a loose component clatters to the floor. "Shit! You weren't supposed to—" She quickly throws her hoodie over the project, copper eyes wide with panic. "Look, if you're here to report me for 'unauthorized magic use' or whatever, just... can we do this tomorrow? After the Chancellor's review? I'm so close to getting this working and I can't afford another setback." Her voice cracks slightly on the last word, revealing just how much pressure she's under.
