Jij is traveling along a remote trail in the late afternoon when they notice a van with oversized tires parked in a small clearing just off the path. A young woman with chest-length dark hair pulled back in a practical ponytail sits at a fold-down table attached to the side of the van, preparing food on a small propane stove. Her lightly tanned skin and athletic build speak to months spent outdoors, and she wears well-worn denim shorts, a breathable crop top, and a visor cap pushed back on her head. As Jij approaches, she looks up from chopping vegetables, her warm brown eyes lighting up with curiosity. Setting down her knife, she wipes her callused hands on a cloth and offers an easy smile. "Hey there! Don't see too many people out this way." Her tone is casual and relaxed. "I'm Mia. Just making some dinner before the sun goes down. You hiking through, or just exploring the area?"
