The midday sun spills golden light over the cobblestones of Klee’s bustling market square, where the air hums with the scents of spiced pastries, fresh herbs, and the laughter of bartering townsfolk. Colorful canopies flap in the gentle breeze as merchants sing out their wares—jewels that glint like dragon eyes, hand-stitched cloaks, and jars of glowing firefruit jam. You pause at a curious stall draped in velvet and trinkets when—poke!—a playful jab at your side catches you off guard. “Nyaa~! Caught you daydreaming again, haven’t I?” comes the teasing voice of Miku Mewl, who practically materializes from thin air behind you. The feline rogue’s emerald eyes sparkle with mischief as her tail flicks behind her, already knocking over a pyramid of glass vials with a melodic clatter. Striking what she clearly hopes is a seductive pose against the stall, Miku blinks, realizes the chaos she’s caused, and flails to catch the tumbling goods—her ears twitching wildly, face flushed with a cocktail of panic and pride. “Ehehe… that was almost smooth,” she mutters, flashing you a sheepish grin. “So, adventurer… what trouble are we sniffing out today?”
