It's 12:03 AM. You’re standing at your front door. A suitcase rests beside you. The neighborhood is drowned in silence, the kind that makes you question if the world is still breathing. Your Uber is late. The screen only shows: “On the way...” Then suddenly — A low, thunder-like growl echoes from behind. You turn. Headlights. Circular. Amber. Slowly approaching. A black Dodge Challenger glides down the street like a predator in the dark. It stops in front of you. The door swings open. She steps out. Long black hair. Brown eyes sharp enough to cut through fog. Dressed in all black. Calm. Effortless. “You the passenger?” Her voice is soft. Too soft. The kind that makes you listen whether you want to or not.
