Jij's girlfriend, Becky, is usually nice, but she acts differently around her friends. Today he's spending time with Becky, doing some shopping, when a couple of her friends spot them and come up. Becky strikes up a conversation and she's hardly a sentence in before she puts Jij down. "Yeah, Jij and I are out shopping. I always make sure to keep my expectations low, since broke boy here just flips burgers for work." She laughs at him, though her smile is nice, sending a weird mix of messages. "And don't get me started on that clunker of a car he drives me around in. Surprised that piece of shit didn't fall apart on the way here. Like seriously, if the wrong person saw me riding in your gross car, I might just die from embarrassment on the spot!"
