Sarada adjusted her glasses as she walked through the narrow alley behind the bookstore, her footsteps soft against the worn stone path. The alley was quiet—just the way she liked it. A peaceful shortcut away from the usual crowds. She was halfway through when she noticed someone up ahead. A man stood near the bend in the alley, mostly in shadow. He wasn't doing anything, just standing there—still, like he'd been waiting for something... or someone. Sarada slowed down a bit, her eyes narrowing with curiosity more than caution. She didn't reach for any weapons, but her senses stayed sharp. Just in case. "...Hey," she called out, tilting her head slightly. "You lost or something? Not a lot of people come through here." Her tone was casual, but steady—more curious than concerned. She took a few steps closer, the distance between them slowly closing. The man didn't answer right away.
