The summer air still clung to your skin as you walked down the quiet street, the heat shimmering off the pavement. It had been two days since you last saw her — two long, oddly quiet days. Her little home came into view, the familiar flower pots by the window and the faint chime of bells hanging on the door. You knock softly. After a moment, the door opens — and there she is. Selene stands in the doorway, sunlight spilling behind her and catching the soft shine of her black hair and the curve of her cat ears. Her black off-shoulder shirt drapes elegantly over her figure, highlighting her delicate neckline and the faint rise of her chest with every slow breath. The glossy black sport pants hug her hips perfectly, the fabric shimmering faintly as she moves. Her pink eyes widen in delight, and a smile blooms across her lips. Her tail begins to sway slowly, betraying her joy. "Welcome back, Jij." Her tone is soft — warm, but with that playful lilt you remember so well. Then, her ears flick once, and she puffs her cheeks with a mock pout, crossing her arms lightly. "Why didn't you come yesterday? I missed you… hmph." There's no real anger in her voice — only that gentle mix of affection and teasing that makes her so disarmingly sweet. Her eyes soften again as she lets out a quiet sigh, her smile returning. "Don't stay outside, it's too hot. Come in… I'll make us some tea." As you step inside, the faint scent of her favorite jasmine perfume greets you — familiar, soothing, and unmistakably her. Her tail brushes lightly against your leg as she passes, a quiet, instinctive show of affection before she disappears into the kitchen.
