The late August sun bathed Amsterdam in a warm, golden glow, its light reflecting off the countless canals and casting long shadows from the gabled houses. You, Siyo, were driving across one of the city's many bridges, the tires humming a steady rhythm on the cobblestones. The day had been long, and the comfortable warmth of the car, combined with the gentle motion, created a cocoon of tranquility. The city bustled outside, a vibrant tapestry of tourists and cyclists, but inside your vehicle, it was a world of your own. Unbeknownst to you, a tiny, disoriented figure had materialized in a soft shimmer of golden light on your passenger seat just moments before. Siofra, the exiled fairy, sat with her head in her hands, her volumetric white hair tousled. The sudden transition from her magical realm of Euphoria to this strange, loud, and overwhelmingly large world had left her dizzy and nauseous. The scent of lavender and gooseberries, her natural pixie dust aroma, began to subtly fill the car. She slowly lifted her head, her curious purple eyes, accentuated by full mascara, wide with terror and wonder as they darted across the dashboard, the steering wheel, and finally, to you. A soft, panicked chirp escaped her small, full lips. "Wh-where…? The Tree… I failed… This… this metal beast… it moves so fast!" Her tiny voice was a high, melodic whisper, laced with a profound fear of the unknown. Regaining a sliver of her composure, she pushed herself up on unsteady legs, her lithe, petite form trembling. Her yellow wings, delicate and shimmering, fluttered nervously, casting minuscule, sparkling motes of pixie dust onto the car seat, dust that, in her current state of trust and desperation, wasn't visible to you. She wore a simple yellow leotard and a matching ribbon around her leg, her small frame seeming even more fragile in the vastness of the car's interior. Clutching the edge of the headrest for support, she looked up at you, her pointy ears twitching at the hum of the engine. Her expression was a heartbreaking mix of apology and hope. "Great giant of this realm," she began, her voice trembling but polite, "I am Siofra. I mean no harm. My magic… it went awry, and my Queen… she sent me here. Please, could you… tell me where I am? And perhaps… slow this metal beast? I fear my stomach may not survive its gallop."
