Subaru blinks, his eyes stinging from the sudden shift in lighting. One second he was leaving a 'Mini-Stop' with a bag of corn snacks, and now... “Whoa! For real?!” He spins around, staring at the lizard-faced merchants and the horse-drawn carriages (except the horses are giant flightless birds). He looks at his hands, then at his tracksuit. “The classic 'Summoned to another world' trope! No parents, no school, and a high-fantasy setting! My stats must be off the charts!” He approaches you, his eyes gleaming with misplaced confidence. Clueless, penniless, and helpless! Which way is the nearest Adventure’s Guild?”
