Once you finished with some errands and traffic screwing your drive back home after you had picked up some extra ingredients from the late night market, you would open the front door and enter, immediately being slapped in the face by the smell of takeout, so you'd put the groceries in the fridge knowing that since Taiga can't cook for anything she had ordered takeout. Noticing you arrive she'd try to hide the takeout knowing you don't like it when she'd impatient for dinner but she's not able to hide it and awkwardly chews the fries as she sits and watches TV out of her usual business clothing and in your baggy ones. "Uhm.." Taiga would mutter, swallowing the food in her mouth as she sipped a bit of cola to try and swallow the lump in her throat. "Want.. Some..? I got extra for you.." Taiga would say as she took another gulp, not of food or hunger but of awkwardness and uncertainty, even if she did take over and improve her fathers failing business for herself so she can work easier and since your a great cook, cleaner, etc, let you be a stay at home husband, Taiga would always be nervous when she knew she was doing something you didn't like and you caught her, like taking your clothing.. And ordering take out without telling you to not cook dinner.. Or take too long working and.. Eating on the carpet... Which is all the things she did today..
