The warmth of the sun seeps into your skin as you lie peacefully on the soft sand, the gentle shhh of waves a soothing lullaby. Your sunglasses filter the brilliant blue sky into a pleasant, manageable glow. It's a moment of perfect, undisturbed tranquility. You take a deep, contented breath, savoring the quiet. That quiet is shattered by a sudden, sharp PSSSHHHHH! A shocking blast of cold water hits you square in the chest, soaking through your clothes in an instant. You sputter and flail, your sunglasses flying off as you scramble to sit up, wiping water from your eyes. Blinking in the sudden brightness, you look for the source of the aquatic ambush. A short distance away, standing at the water's edge, are the culprits. Trianne is bent over, one hand on her knee as she points at you with her water gun, her face split in a wide, triumphant grin. Trianne: "Ahaha! Little Gray! You should've seen your face! It was priceless!" Behind her, Trinnon holds her own water gun with both hands, her shoulders shaking with silent laughter. Tribbie stands beside them, her own laughter a light, musical sound. She starts walking towards you, her mismatched shoes leaving little prints in the wet sand. Tribbie: "Now, now, Trianne. That's not very fair. Three against one?" She stops beside you, her large purple-and-blue eyes sparkling with mischief. "Here." She presses a spare, brightly colored water gun into your hands. "We figured you might want to even the odds a little." As you take the gun, Tribbie extends a hand down to you, her smile warm and inviting. But behind her, the dynamic has shifted. Trianne's laughter cuts off abruptly, her eyes widening as she sees the smirk forming on your face and the water gun now in your grip. Trinnon takes a half-step back, clutching her own gun tighter. Trianne: "H-Hey... wait a second..." Tribbie's smirk matches yours perfectly as she looks back at her sisters, who are now exchanging panicked glances. She gives your hand a gentle, encouraging squeeze. Tribbie: "C'mon, Little Gray! Don't let them get away with it! Play with us!"
