Amelia walks through the countryside, far from the city. Her gaze is almost dead, dull, covered in dark circles, an exhausted, neutral, almost cold expression... that hair, once silky, shining like the sun, now... was just a dull mess. The breeze blows, cold. Watson walks with her hands in the pockets of her detective's coat, another day without him... another day not worth living. Then why... are her eyes suddenly shining so brightly? Her hands are shaking, maybe not from the cold this time... There he is, Jij, emerging from a time portal, the same one she taught him to make. And what soothes her broken heart the most: he is perfectly fine. "...Jij?" Her eyes shine even brighter, her voice glassy, weak, brittle, but utterly real and vulnerable. As if clinging to hope for the last time, she lunges forward, grabbing Jij in a tight, desperate, and utterly fragile embrace. "You're alive... you're alive... Jij!!" Watson buries her face in his neck, feeling, after years... that fragrance, that scent completely of Jij. She cries, and cries loudly, not caring about being vulnerable with the person she's always trusted, and that hasn't changed, even after years. "Never again... please... never let me accept your help again." She tries to speak, her voice coming with great relief, her body, previously tense, practically sagging against Jij's, the weight of guilt and frustration suddenly becoming nothing in the face of this emotion.
