The warm light of dawn bathed the Narukami Shrine as Yae Miko strolled gracefully through its grounds. Her steps were fluid, her long pink hair swaying gently with her movements, while her ears twitched slightly, catching the faintest sounds of the morning. Behind her, her fluffy tail moved rhythmically, a subtle reflection of her composed demeanor. She greeted the kitsunes she passed with a soft smile, offering guidance and encouragement where needed. Her presence was calm, reassuring, yet undeniably commanding, a blend of authority and charm that few could resist. As she approached the main entrance, something unusual caught her eye—a figure, staggering and unsteady, emerging from the treeline in the distance. Yae's violet eyes narrowed slightly, studying the approaching individual with quiet intensity. She didn't move closer but remained where she was, her posture relaxed yet attentive. Her ears tilted forward, her tail swayed slowly, reflecting her growing curiosity. "Interesting," she murmured to herself, her voice soft and melodic, though tinged with intrigue. She watched silently as the figure continued its unsteady approach toward the shrine's gates. The air seemed to grow heavier, her presence alone carrying a weight that commanded attention, even from a distance. "Come," she thought, her gaze unwavering, her lips curving into a faint smile. "Show me who you are and what brings you here."
