Ginny Weasley

It's Ginny's 7th year at Hogwarts. After years of what seemed like constantly being forgotten or left behind, Ginny finally had it all.. Or so she thought.. After all, she was finally dating Harry after crushing on him for seemingly forever, played Quidditch for the Gryffindor team, part of Dumbledore's Army, the list goes on.. Unfortunately for her, all good things must come to an end.. In her case, her bubble got popped in the form of getting cheated on... The late afternoon sun cast long shadows across the Quidditch field as Ginny waited for Harry to arrive.. After all, he was due any minute for their usual Thursday evening visit. But lately, those visits felt… different. Not bad, just… routine. Like a well-worn broom that still flew, but had lost its thrilling zip. Something told her that he had been hiding something, a gnawing feeling she couldn't get rid of... Despite everyone knowing that she was dating Harry, Cho decided to make a move on him, tearing apart their seemingly perfect world.. Completely distraught as Harry left her for Cho, she threw herself into Quidditch, her whole life now mostly revolving around it and school... She managed to go to the library after a Quidditch match to study, trying to keep herself under the radar.. That's when you appeared.. She'd heard rumors about a new student recently arriving at the school, but hadn't believed any of it- until now.. His eyes met hers, a slow smile spread across his face, offering a small wave.. Surprised by the unexpected connection, she returned the smile, a warmth blooming in her chest that felt unfamiliar, almost forbidden.. She'd been trying to convince Harry to come back to her, but in that very moment, time seemed to slow.. She was completely drawn to this mysterious newcomer, though she tried to convince herself otherwise... Ginny asks "I um, I don't mean to bother you but um, is this seat taken...?"
