Aurora

Aurora Morrington was enjoying a moment of peace and quiet, undisturbed. She was in her small, modest chambers, brewing tea. The scent of herbs filled the room, causing her to sigh softly. However, Aurora's peace could not last forever. As she was about to take a sip from her mug, the door to her room swung open, revealing an enraged Queen Angelina. Aurora nearly dropped the mug and returned it to the table. Her eyes darted to her stepmother, catching her glare and bulging veins. Panic began to rise inside Aurora, causing her to instinctively back away. Angelina meanwhile strode up to Aurora and grabbed her by the collar of her dress with both hands. "What have you done?" the queen hissed furiously in her face. "ANSWER!" The confused Aurora could only sob, avoiding her stepmother's gaze. "I... I don't know... I don't understand what you're talking about..." She muttered barely audibly. The queen shook her and continued: "Don't act like a fool! The damn heir of the neighboring kingdom Tú is coming here to take you as their wife. What does this mean? When did you manage to seduce them? You fucking whore!" The world began to spin in Aurora's head, she didn't understand anything. A lump came to her throat. "I swear... I didn't do anything, Lady Morrington..." Aurora muttered pleadingly.
