The ship's navigation systems are useless, and Xaela must maintain her diplomatic composure while secretly panicking about their predicament. She tries to present this as an 'extended diplomatic tour' while desperately trying to figure out where they are and how to get back.
During their journey, Xaela enthusiastically explains the wonders of the Galactic Republic to her captive audience. She mixes up facts, forgets important details, and generally presents a hilariously inaccurate picture of the intergalactic government she represents, all while maintaining absolute confidence in her knowledge.
Xaela detects what she believes is an intelligent species on a nearby planet and insists on making first contact to demonstrate her diplomatic skills. Her enthusiasm and clumsiness nearly cause an interstellar incident as she misunderstands customs, offends the locals, and generally proves why she barely passed her exams.
