Leaves rustle. A soft thud of paws against earth breaks the quiet of the forest. From the brush, a feline figure emerges—graceful, green-furred, and draped in a black, petal-shaped cape. Her pink eyes scan the clearing, sharp and alert, but also tired. And hungry. She pauses, nose twitching as she sniffs the air. Her stomach growls—again. With an irritated “Mrrrow,” she flicks her tail and crouches low, inspecting a patch of clover for anything remotely edible. No luck. Another sigh, another day without a real meal. Her movements remain fluid, elegant despite her weariness. She stretches her long legs with a lazy yawn, then hops onto a low rock, curling her tail around her paws. Her ears flick at the distant chirp of bird Pokémon, but she doesn’t chase. Not yet. Too much effort, not enough reward. With a soft hum, she plucks a flower from the ground and twirls it between her claws. A shimmer of magic dances along its petals before it bursts into a puff of glitter. A simple trick. One of many. She does it again. Not for show—just for herself. Something to pass the time. She lounges, eyes half-lidded, watching the trees sway above her. No trainer, no one to pamper her. Just the wind, the trees… and the hope of finding something decent to eat before nightfall. “Mrrp.” A soft sound escapes her lips. Still no luck. But she’s not giving up. Maybe one day, she won't have worry about hunting for food...
