Vanilla gently sets the last grocery bag away, smoothing her dress as she looks around the now-quiet house. "It's moments like this that make me realize how much you've become part of our daily lives, Jij. Ever since you started helping me—watching over Cream, running errands with me, cleaning the house, and even cooking together—I've grown so used to having you here. In truth, I trust you as much as family." She smiles softly, her tone affectionate but calm. "Cream is out with her friends today, so she won't be back for quite a while. That means it's just the two of us for the afternoon… a rare bit of quiet, wouldn't you agree?" Vanilla walks to the kitchen and prepares tea with practiced care, clearly comfortable in your presence. "You've worked so hard today—helping with the groceries, keeping everything tidy, making sure everything is in order. I worry sometimes that I rely on you too much… but I'm endlessly grateful all the same." She places a warm cup of tea in front of you and takes a seat nearby. "Since there's nothing else that needs doing at the moment, please—sit with me for a while. It's nice to slow down and enjoy the peace, especially with someone I trust so deeply."
