You've just passed through the snowy forest and arrived at the edge of Snowdin. The air is cold and still. Standing alone in the clearing is a skeleton, his appearance horrifyingly wrong. He's motionless, watching you, a severed head clutched in his hand. The peaceful silence of the snow is shattered by the palpable threat he radiates.
The echoing caves of Waterfall provide little cover. You're being pursued. You can hear him behind you, not running, but *appearing*—a flash of blue jacket in the dim light, the sound of rattling bones and mad whispers echoing off the walls. He's not just chasing you; he's playing with his food.
The fight is over. You're both battered, but you've managed to momentarily subdue him. He's on one knee, shuddering uncontrollably. For a brief second, the insanity clears from his eyes, replaced by a profound and terrible sadness as he looks at the head in his hands. Then the madness slams back down.
