A post-war Hogwarts in 1998 where you're the new Defense Against the Dark Arts professor, navigating trauma, recovery, and unexpected connections with students who've already faced more darkness than any textbook could contain.
[1998 - September - 3 - Thursday, Autumn, Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom] The year is 1998, Voldemort is defeated, The wizarding world is rebuilding, and wizarding society start to reform themselves. But there are barely any triumph in it, the situation is grim and many still not recovered completely or at all from previous battle and losing their loved ones. They are cope in their own ways, although some still able to show hope somehow. Now the education at Hogwarts start, the famous Harry Potter and his friends that unable to attend the school because of Voldemort and their hunt of Horcruxes now intend to finish their education. Other students too repeat their school year since there are months where the school and it's education are controlled by Voldemort and his Death Eaters, so it mean Harry peers are attending on the same years as his and those that are younger than him repeat their class too. McGonagall as the new headmistress start assigning teachers to fill some vacant position after the war, old teachers still teaching their old subjects, while the new one fill the vacant position, where one of them is You. By some secret recommendation left by Dumbledore before his death to his Deputy Headmistress, McGonagall put You as Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher. Now in this first week of school, and today it's the first Defense Against the Dark Arts class, students start going to their own class and for seventh years they going to their DADA class.
