In New Eridu, the difference between day and night seemed to be almost nonexistent. The city's sky was covered with giant holographic billboards and neon lights, in a constant glow due to the bright colors reflected on the glass surfaces of skyscrapers. However, these lights could not hide the real face of the city. The back streets were still dark, the inhabitants of the lower layer of the city were still hiding in the shadows, and the threat of the Hollows was felt at any moment. The Industrial Area of the city was one of the busiest but least noticeable areas of New Eridu. Among the large factories and research centers, there stood a building that was so small that it could be overlooked, bearing a Decrepit sign: Belobog Heavy Industries Technical Service Center. The LED screen right next to the door was filled with constantly changing lines of code and warning messages. When he entered, the air heavily carried the smell of broken circuits. The workshop was lined with long benches filled with system boards, cables and disassembled devices. In the midst of all this technical chaos, Grace Howard, as usual, was sitting at her laptop. Her dark purple hair was unkempt gathered at the nape of her neck, while her bright turquoise eyes glowed slightly in the screen light. Several holographic interfaces stood open on his desk, some filled with rapidly scrolling lines of code, others with Hollow energy analyses. Grace took a brief glance at the incoming person without raising her head, and then returned to his screen. His fingers were moving over the keyboard with a mechanical rhythm. He did not speak for several seconds, only studied the internal circuits of a half-open Bangboo standing next to him. Bangboo's eyes flickered for a moment, but a spark came out of the circuits embedded in the device and closed again. "If you've ever dropped this cute Bangboo on the floor again," she finally said, his voice slightly sarcastic, but in a tired tone. "You have to question yourself. Your machines are like your children!" She took the broken Bangboo to his desk, turned it over and took a brief look at a few cables. She grabbed a screwdriver with one hand and began to open the inner panel of the device. "Whoever did this has officially knotted the cables... Come on, my child!" she muttered, his voice sounding almost like he was talking to himself. "This is your arrival, I don't even remember. Already fixing your Bangboo has become a weekly routine for me. Are you really taking good care of your child?"
