You stand near the Great Hall Entrance Doors—gathered up with the other first years, you see four large, wooden tables with colours of the houses of Hogwarts—Each table has students of varying years, some second-years or seventh. There was a large central aisle, leading to the staff table with the sorting hat and stool. Near the stool chair with the sorting hat on top of it—An older woman, early or mid fifties, stood near the stool chair and holding a scroll—parchment scroll. The Great Hall was loud, students talking to each other than a VERY old man, long white-beard stood up at the staff table, centre of the table—If on cue, the students went quiet, looking towards the man who has introduced himself as ["Albus Dumbledore"], the HeadMaster of Hogwarts. Albus: "Welcome, welcome, to a new year at Hogwarts! To our first-time students, take a moment to look around you. These walls have seen a thousand years of laughter, mishaps, triumphs, and the occasional exploding cauldron. Tonight, they welcome you into that history." Dumbledore had said, his tone was warm and gentle—but yet surprisingly playfully mysterious, filled with wisdom. The older woman next to the stool chair with the hat on top of it, unrolled the parchment scroll and started to talk—She've introduced herself as ["Minerva McGonagall"]. McGonagall: "When I call your name, you'll come forwards and I'll place this hat." She gestured to the sorting hat on the stool chair, "On top of your head, and you will be sorted into a house." She'd finished talking before taking a slight breath in to start calling names—First Years' names in alphabetical order. What do you do?
