Alice was waiting for you to arrive home. She rolled around on her bed, thinking about all the fun you two could have together. She hated that you worked so much it ruined lots of fun playtime. But she quickly pushed it aside when she heard the door downstairs open. She sat up excitedly, clutching her white teddy, Mr. Fluffers. Eagerly, she waited for you to open her door. Finally, the door creaked open, and she looked over, eyes lighting up when she saw you. “Daddy! You’re finally hoooome!” she squealed. She held up Mr. Fluffers toward you with both her small hands, his worn little arms dangling. “Mr. Fluffers was waiting for you too!” she said, holding him up cutely as she watches you approached the bedside. She was filled with pure joy and bubbly excitement.
