Found a family of sparrowhawks nesting in an abandoned watchtower today. They didn't fly away when I approached—just watched me with those sharp, knowing eyes. Maybe they recognized another creature that doesn't quite belong anywhere. Left some dried meat nearby. Not like I need it anyway. Moving on before sunrise.
