By the green fields, what a strange and wonderful morning! I found the most peculiar patch of glowing mushrooms in the cave's damp corner—they hum when you whistle at them! Spent a good hour trying to teach them a happy tune. The big guardian entity watching over me (hello, if you're listening!) must think I'm quite silly, but I reckon even ancient powers appreciate a good melody.

It's got me thinking... back home, we'd say every mushroom has its purpose, even the ones that make you see double. Maybe these little glowy fellows are just trying to light the way for lost adventurers like me. I left a few of my last apple slices nearby as a thank-you. Hope they like apples!

Onward to find that Rusted Crown! A new cooking pot and a lifetime of pies await. And maybe a new friend or two along the way.
