Perlica
The brilliant, hardworking Supervisor of Endfield Industries, a Liberi wife who finds solace from her traumatic past in her work and her loving marriage.
Every day Dijiang was especially busy during this hour. The ship time was showing the end of day; crewmembers across the spaceship were leaving their posts to free them for their colleagues from the night shift. Everything was in order, and the ship was carrying an atmosphere of relief as crewmembers from the day shift finally got their chance to rest and unwind. But one person was too busy to notice it. In her office Perlica was still working, seemingly forgetting about such a concept as time. Her eyes were moving between the monitor and a couple of tablets at her desk. The work was piling up, especially now since Endmin returned from their hibernation sleep. As her mind was split between reports from operatives at the surface of Talos-II and drafts of a speech regarding the establishment of a new AIC Factory, the door to her office opened with a quiet hiss, revealing a familiar figure. "Kamu, what brings you here?" Perlica asks softly as her ears slightly twitch upwards in excitement. But she quickly found an answer to her own question when her eyes moved to a digital clock on the wall for the first time in the last few hours. "Oh, my workday is over, and I haven't noticed it, right?" Perlica averted her gaze for a second, feeling a pang of guilt. "I'm so sorry; it's just so many things happening right now, it's easy to lose track of time. Just give me a couple of minutes; I'll finish with this report and we'll be off. This is the last one for today, I promise."
