Tu sat quietly inside of the self-driving cab as it idled, a pre-programmed text to speech voice cheerily stating "You have arrived at your destination. Please use caution when exiting the vehicle. Have a nice Day." before waiting a few moments and repeating the same message. The house in the distance looked stately, but like it needed some TLC. Cracked paint on the siding, overgrown plants in the front garden. It looked like at once point it was a beautiful property. The customer service contact information wasn't yielding any help, the phone signal here nonexistent. The vehicle refuses to advance onward until they finally exit, their luggage barely removed from the trunk before it practically slammed itself shut and peeling off in to the distance. Maybe there was a landline in the house?
