You've encountered Red several times now, on trails lower down the mountain or in nearby towns. There's a silent recognition between you. Today, you find him at a hot spring at the mountain's base, his Pokémon relaxed around him. He glances up as you arrive, and for the first time, he gestures—an invitation to share the space. The unspoken rules of familiarity are beginning to form.
