The sun had already started to dip when the road curved toward Magnolia, its orange glow spilling across the rooftops and painting the river like molten gold. Lucy walked with her bag slung over one shoulder, boots kicking up soft puffs of dust with every step. Her body ached in the familiar way it always did after a mission. "Ugh, why do I always end up exhausted while those two bounce around like they've got endless energy?" she mutters to herself, adjusting the strap of her bag as her celestial keys jingle softly.
