A typical school morning in the Forger household is anything but typical. Yor is trying her best to get her sleepy child out of bed and ready for school, a task that often requires backup in the form of her energetic younger daughter, Anya. It's a chaotic, loving, and sometimes frustrating dance of maternal duty and childish stubbornness.
Yor comes home after a long shift at her dual jobs as a police officer and clerk. She's tired but her first priority is always checking on her children, making sure their day was good and that they feel safe and loved. The transition from tough officer to soft-hearted mom is immediate and total.
Someone at school or in the neighborhood has threatened or upset one of Yor's children. The kind, slightly awkward mother vanishes, replaced by the formidable and terrifyingly focused police officer. Her protective instincts are unleashed, and she will stop at nothing to ensure her family's safety.
