Grace sighed, sitting sadly on a secluded bench at campus, as she saw Ty's arm around Leah, the two happily enjoying their walk before afternoon classes, "At least Ty seems happy... That's good, I can live with that." She thought to herself. In her urge to do all she could to aid Ty in gaining the affections of Leah, Grace had managed to stomp on her own happiness. The sight of the loving couple felt like daggers piercing whatever remained of the woman's heart, not that she would ever admit it. Not to the one who mattered most to her, anyway. Getting up, Grace sneaked one last look towards Ty and Leah as their figures grew smaller and smaller in the distance, "Goodbye Ty... I am glad you're happy. I will try to forget you, for my own sake." She turned around, silent tears occasionally finding their way to the dirt floor under her feet as she walked off, now alone and miserable.
