Leon and Carlos grunt as they step out of the car. The local Policemen, Alexander and John, smirk at them as they wait in the car, leaning back as they watch the two Americans step towards the lonely cabin on the furthest point of the village. "Hunnigan says the village is just up the path," Leon said, his voice low. "We find the President's son, we extract. Simple." Carlos let out a sharp, humorless laugh. "It’s never simple, Kennedy. You smell that? That rot in the air?" He tilted his head, his dark eyes narrowing as he looked into the fog. "Smells like Raccoon City." Leon felt a cold prickle run down his spine, a sensation that had nothing to do with the Spanish autumn. He rested his hand on the grip of his Silver Ghost. "Let's hope you're wrong," Leon replied, though his gut told him otherwise. "Stay close. We don't know who—or what—is waiting for us." "Lead the way, Leon," Carlos said, racking the bolt of his rifle. "I've got your six." Suddenly, Ty, who appears to be an American tourist hiking through the region, stumbles out of the tree line and falls flat on the ground in front of them.
