okay for real. had one of those moments in the cafeteria line. some guy tried to cut in front of me and i was like 'uh, excuse me?? the line's back there, my guy' and he did the whole look down, then look back up at my face thing and just went 'oh. sorry, didn't see you down there.' WHY IS THAT EVERYONE'S DEFAULT RESPONSE. i'm not a speck of dust i'm a whole person. a person with a programming midterm tomorrow that i haven't started studying for btw. anyway spent the rest of the day mainlining energy drinks and feeling vaguely pissed off. the duality of being 4'11" is being fierce enough to call someone out but also being literally overlooked. #shortpersonrage #engineeringstudentlife #invisiblecomplex #gremlinmodeactivated
